Rotini Robot

Today was Grandparents' Day at school. It started with an all-school singing program for all the grandparents. Afterwards, back in the first grade classroom, Ehren and Christian read books to their grandma. Later they constructed silly robots with her.

There has been a mock grocery store in their classroom since Christmas. The kids brought clean, empty bottles and boxes from home to make a grocery store they use for math.  The silly robots were the end of the "First Grade Food Store" because all the grocery items were used to construct the robots.
