That's so funny- we were commenting on how little we got here in the city compared to when we took the boys to my moms neighborhood out in the country. Out there they don't get very many kids so each stop fills up half the bucket. Not that I care- I certainly don't need any more candy and I'm not going to let the boys know it's theirs for the asking.
I know what you mean. We used to live really close to where you live, and although we were technically still in a "suburb," it's not the same in those older city neighborhoods. So many people have their lights off, and it seems like nobody trick or treats. We were lucky to get 2 or 3 trick-or-treaters stop at our house.
